MagicBox® Wi-Fi Setup

Connecting your device to the internet consists of two stages. First, use the device's Wi-Fi to connect to it directly. Then, use your phone's browser to access the device and complete the Wi-Fi setup.

Write down the serial number of the device. You will need to use it when registering your device in the application.

1. Using the Device's Wi-Fi

Open the Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device. Find the Wi-Fi network that starts with the MagicBox_ prefix followed by the MagicBox® MAC address, which will be different for every device. In this example, the device's Wi-Fi network is: MagicBox_XS8C4B1481F310

2. Using a Phone Browser to Set Up Home Wi-Fi Access

Connect to the Wi-Fi network generated by your device using your mobile phone. Open your mobile browser and enter the following URL: http://magicbox.local

You will be presented with a screen where you need to enter the name and password of your home Wi-Fi network. Once added, the device will connect to it automatically.

Once your Wi-Fi setup is complete and the device is successfully connected to your home network, you will see a success screen.
